Since she started scooting, she also has started scooting towards her toy bins in the office. Once she gets close enough, she pulls up on the edge and reaches in to grab one of her toys. Who knows she may skip crawling and move on to walking.

Easter & Brian's Birthday
Grace spends a part of a day or two each week at her Grandma Taliaferro's house. I think Grace definitely has even better and bigger toys at Grandma's house.
While Grace is still not crawling, she certainly shows the right instinct. She will lean way over on her hands to reach for objects, lifting her rear off the ground. She just hasn't figured
out that all she needs to do is put her knees down, and she would be able to take off!
Of course, she received a few little Easter gifts. Yet, the tissue paper remains her favorite.
One of her favorite activities when with Grandpa Gibson is to pull on his hair.

Scooting
Grace still isn't crawling, but by the end of February (right at 10 months), she was starting to scoot herself on her rear a few feet at a time. She only does it if there is something she is interested in getting her hands on.
This was one of the first times Kristie caught her having scooted. Kristie had put her on the floor about two feet away from the changing table in her nursery. She came back a few minutes later only to find her playing with the diaper stacker on the end of the changing table..JPG)
Cheerios!!!
Shortly after Valentine's Day, we gave Grace her first Cheerios. We were really impressed with how easily she picked them up immediately. She had her pincer grasp down before we even gave her the tools to practice with!
At first, she wouldn't even think of putting them in her mouth, or if she did she spit them back out. In just the past week, she has really started to eat them. In the past few days, if we put 15 or 20 in front of her, she will eat them in just a few minutes.
